Mads and Claire {Wedding} – Paekakariki Beach

Mads and Claire were an absolute dream to photograph. It’s really not hard to fall in love with them because they’re one of the nicest and sweetest couple we’ve ever met. Mads is so charming and sweet and Claire is so effortless and exudes elegance. The love and joy they share is so evident in the way they hold each other. There is no doubt they belong together.

Under a perfect blue sky on a perfect Autumn afternoon, surrounded by their family and friends at Paekakariki Beach, Mads and Claire said their ido’s. The details, the poems, the sunset — if I were to sum up this wedding in just one word, it would be, Breathtaking.

Mads and Claire, thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing us to be your photographers. I still can’t get over how beautiful and perfect your wedding was and I’m truly grateful for the trust you gave us and for letting us document this very special day.

Rebecca did an amazing job with the hair and makeup. Claire looked absolutely flawless and stunning!

Warning: Major gorgeousness ahead! Join me in falling in love with this lovely couple! I am seriously running out of adjectives to describe these two!

Don’t they look like they belong in an old Hollywood film?

Paekakariki Surf Club was so lovely and perfect for their intimate wedding.

For more photos, view their slideshow below. I used a different kind of song  for this slideshow, but I think it best represents the feel of their wedding day. Enjoy!

Warren & Suzanne {Wedding} – Simunovich Olive Estate, Auckland

A little more than a week ago, Jay, Izzy and I drove up to Auckland for work. Jay had to work anyway, Izzy and I enjoyed the weekend shopping. Because that’s what girls do. 😉

It was the first time Jay covered a wedding without me. He second shot for another awesome photographer, Regan Morgan from XesPhotography. And I have to admit, after seeing these photographs, I secretly wish I was there too. The details from this wedding are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

The candles and the flowers are so romantic. The venue is stunning. The bride is gorgeous. The light and the weather was perfect! It couldn’t have been more beautiful than it was and these images that Jay took show just that. I am so very proud!

Reuben and Amy {Wedding} – Higher Taste, Wellington

The anticipation for this day has been childlike ever since they asked us to be their photographers. We were beyond excited that Reuben and Amy chose us to document their one-of-a-kind wedding and so thrilled because really, their families are just the sweetest.

Their wedding was the first Indian wedding I ever covered, and it was everything I had hoped for and more. The details and the colors were just so beautiful, I really felt like a child in a candy store photographing this wedding. I can’t even begin to describe how magical and unforgettable it was, so I’ll just let these photographs speak for themselves.

Siva (Yes, I’m calling you Siva because I feel like we’re now friends too! haha.) and Amy, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for letting us be parts of your lives this way. It was a pleasure to see your family again and we appreciate how welcome you made us feel. It was such a wonderful day and I couldn’t have thought of a better way to start the new year.

The day started with lots of smiles and blings. It was absolutely gorgeous!

Amy, you told me before that you don’t actually like getting your photos taken because you think you don’t photograph well. Well, I think you should have your pictures taken all the time because you are an absolute darling in front of the camera! If you need proof, just take a look at these gorgeous photos of yours!

It was also the first time that we did a “first look”. Reuben and Amy chose to see each other before the ceremony, and I’m so happy they did because the light was amazing!

My view of the first look..

..and here’s the first look from Jay’s perspective.. I looooove the look on Reuben’s face when he saw Amy!

..then it was time for their portraits..these two were such sweethearts and so easy to work with. The smiles on their faces show just how happy they really are to be marrying each other.

The ceremony and reception were held at the Higher Taste Restaurant in Old Bank Arcade. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many colors in my life! It was beautiful!

**EDIT: A wedding post wouldn’t be complete without a slideshow. So here’s something I made for this lovely couple. Enjoy!

Mark and Caroline {Wedding} – Tarureka Estate, Featherston

It’s so hard to sum up the experience we had documenting Mark and Caroline’s wedding. Everything was just stunning in every way. STUNNING. Gorgeous venue, beautiful scenery, lots of tears and laughter and one amazing amazing couple! Mark and Caroline couldn’t have been more perfect for each other. They were married in the beautiful Tarureka Estate surrounded by their loving friends and family. They were both beaming with joy and it was a beautiful sight to see.

Mark and Caroline, thank you for allowing us to be your wedding photographers. It means more than you know to have been given that chance. We had an amazing time documenting the love you have for each other and we feel very honored to have been there and tell your love story through our eyes.

Tarureka Estate is even more beautiful in the Summer, so it’s no surprise that I fell in love with it even more!  The textures, the details.. it was the perfect venue for this lovely couple!

Isn’t Caroline gorgeous? and those blue eyes.. to die for! I had a great time taking these portraits of her, I think she could light up a room with her smile!

The heartfelt ceremony was officiated by Mark’s Grandfather, which couldn’t have been more perfect and personal.

Michael & Paula {Wedding} – Ss Peter & Paul | Angus Inn, Lower Hutt

People traveled from near and far to witness them say their vows before God and what better way to celebrate their love to each other than with people who are close to their hearts. We, of course, were truly lucky that they chose us to document the beginning of the rest of their lives together.

Michael and Paula, thank you so much for letting us be a tiny part of this special day. We had a lot fun capturing the moments in your wedding, the moments that truly matter. Once again, congratulations and best wishes!

And this is Keira, Michael and Paula’s super adorable blue-eyed 8-month-old. I could take photos of her for hours! She’s such a good girl too, she only cries when she wants to be fed!

Paula is the youngest and the only girl in her family. She’s daddy’s little girl. While doing her bridal portraits, her dad started to cry. It was one of  my favourite moments that day.
