Warren & Suzanne {Wedding} – Simunovich Olive Estate, Auckland

A little more than a week ago, Jay, Izzy and I drove up to Auckland for work. Jay had to work anyway, Izzy and I enjoyed the weekend shopping. Because that’s what girls do. 😉

It was the first time Jay covered a wedding without me. He second shot for another awesome photographer, Regan Morgan from XesPhotography. And I have to admit, after seeing these photographs, I secretly wish I was there too. The details from this wedding are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

The candles and the flowers are so romantic. The venue is stunning. The bride is gorgeous. The light and the weather was perfect! It couldn’t have been more beautiful than it was and these images that Jay took show just that. I am so very proud!

Angela & Kurt + 1 {Maternity} Part 1

As most of you know, I was really thrilled when Angela booked me for her maternity session. This was the first time I was given the opportunity to do a maternity and boudoir session and I would definitely do it again in a heartbeat. It was such an incredible and unforgettable experience. Angela was radiating happiness and Kurt looked so happy in love. I am looking forward to our next session with them, I’m sure it’s going to be just as awesome!

Coming soon..

We’re driving to Auckland for work tomorrow, but before we leave.. here’s a sneak preview from Angela’s maternity session.
Are you excited to see the rest? Because I can’t wait to show them to you!

Dolan & Lauren {Wedding} – A Family affair

There was something very unique and special about this wedding and if you were there you would understand why it’s a little hard for me to describe it in words. Maybe because it was held at the farm where Lauren grew up. Maybe because the bride wore a green dress and the groom wore a green shirt and sneakers. Maybe because they didn’t have a bridal party. Maybe because there were donkeys and a sunflower patch. Or maybe because Lauren baked the awesome cake herself.. But I think it was simply because Dolan and Lauren make such an amazing couple and everything else was just icing on the cake, the beautiful weather, beautiful light, beautiful scenery.. it was a photographer’s dream. From start to finish, it couldn’t have been a better day.

Dolan and Lauren, thank you so much for sharing your day with us and for allowing us to capture your love and your story through our lenses. It was an amazing day and we enjoyed every second of it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I couldn’t have found a more perfect song for their wedding. Watch their slideshow below and find out why. Enjoy!

Summer of Music – Eva Prowse

Welcome to our second installment of Summer of Music! I got a little jealous of the photos Jay posted here last time, so I made sure I had my camera with me when we went back to watch another free concert at the Botanical Gardens. I have to admit though, that it was a little hard for me to concentrate on just taking photos because Eva Prowse and her band were literally sweet sweet music to my ears.

So here they are, the photos we took of the talented and gorgeous Eva Prowse. Enjoy!
