Mark and Sarah-Jayne {Wedding} – The Wellesley Boutique Hotel

I can’t help but feel giddy inside when I look at the photographs from Mark and Sarah-Jayne’s wedding. Trying to describe the excitement and joy that I felt from photographing this memorable event in my own words is almost impossible because everything was just truly wonderful.

I knew this wedding was going to be epic after having so much fun at their engagement session (which you can find here). They were married at the very picturesque Wellesley Boutique Hotel in Wellington. It was a very emotional day full of smiles, laughs and tears. Each moment was a pearl on a string, one more beautiful and perfect than the next. It’s a day I will not soon forget.

Mark and Sarah-Jayne, Thank you. SO MUCH. For everything. For the laughter and the friendship. Your wedding was awesome from head to toe and it was an absolute dream to document!

I have just finished making this slideshow.. enjoy watching!

Rhys & Alisa {Wedding} – The Boatshed, Wellington

One of the many things I love about this job is meeting amazing people who let me tell their unique stories through my eyes. Alisa was the very first bride who booked me 9 months ago and for this, I will always be grateful. Grateful for the trust. Grateful for letting me document one of the most special days in their lives.

Their wedding was incredibly beautiful. Everything was nothing short of perfection. The details, from the diy-ed paper cranes to the tissue pom-poms, were made with love. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and their families and friends were there to witness them celebrate their love for each other.

Rhys and Alisa, I can’t thank you enough for letting us be part of  your perfect wedding. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed capturing them. We’ll see you guys soon!

Steven & Datchanee Wedding – Wellington, New Zealand

I met Steven and Datchanee on their wedding day for the first time as they live in Canada and they arrived in Wellington only a few weeks before their wedding, but it felt like I had already known them longer because it was so easy to be around them and work with them. Their family was very friendly and kind and Amy, Steven’s sister & Datchanee’s bridesmaid, was the best bridesmaid I’ve met so far! She really did everything to make the bride feel comfortable.
It was a perfect winter day too, there was no rain, there were clouds but the sun was shining beautifully, which also gave us gorgeous light.. they couldn’t have picked a better day to get married on.
It was a simple celebration but it was filled with love and happiness from everyone there.

A Sunday Kind of Love #2

It was a cold day, but we were just so happy that it didn’t rain.. so, we drove to town and took photos of the quiet city.
I love quiet, slow Sundays.

Jason & Melissa Part II – The Wedding Stationery

You all know how much I loved capturing all the details on Jason & Melissa’s wedding, but what you didn’t know is that I wasn’t just their photographer.. I was also the one, who designed their wedding stationery and helped Melissa pick the theme that would go perfectly with their wedding venue.

The inspiration for their stationery were lavender flowers, which were also used for Melissa’s bouquet. Here are the photos of how everything came together. I couldn’t be happier!

The monogram I used on their invite was also on their seating chart and programme card.

the seating chart and programme card were placed on a beautiful easel..

I put the table numbers and wishing well sign in black frames to match the color palette, black and lavender.

And lastly, place cards were manila luggage tags with hand-written names of the guests tied around their personalized napkins with hemp string.
