Ben & Kate {Engagement} – Thames, Coromandel

We met Ben and Kate on the day before their wedding. They took us to the place where they always walk their dog, Harper. I love it when couples take us to places special to them because it makes the session even more personal.
They could only stay for less than an hour and do the engagement photos with us, but despite all the last minute wedding craziness, they were calm and relaxed. And glad. because the few minutes they spent with us that day were also the only time they got to stop and spend some quiet time together. Watching them enjoy that little quiet time was wonderful.

They were playful and just really happy, crazy in love. They even climbed up a tree without me having to ask them! Their laugh, their smile, everything about them is so genuine and real. It was amazing how they made us feel so welcome and at home.

This song is just as bubbly and joyful as their personality. View the slideshow below for more photos.

What an awesome job you have done!! We are so lucky. We will treasure these photos, you have managed to capture so many moments. Can’t believe you have only been photographing weddings for one year! You are going to go a long way.
We are still on our honeymoon but couldn’t wait to stop in at an internet cafe to have a look. So excited to see the wedding photos.
Glad you found the barn across from the old railway. We were going to take you there but as you know time for very short. Is’nt it a beautful spot.
    Kate and Ben xx
